Marvel Rivals Boldly Unveils the Latest Lady Loki Costume
You might label Marvel Rivals as an Overwatch clone, creator NetEase deserves praise for finding innovative ways to engage its unabashedly thirsty fanbase. Enter Lady Loki, a completely new outfit for the existing Strategist hero Loki, offering players a comics-accurate depiction of the Norse trickster god(dess).
A Reskin of Loki, Not Hela
Contrary to earlier fan speculation, the highly anticipated Lady Loki costume is not a skin for Hela. Rather, it is a complete visual overhaul of Loki the character, featuring new voice lines. Judging by the official preview, Lady Loki keeps all of Loki's core powers: Mystical Missile, his trickery skill, and Doppelgänger. The sole difference is her new appearance, tailored to appeal to an audience eager to part with their in-game currency.
A Look and Sound in Action
Here is a look at Lady Loki on the battlefield, along with a sample of her new voiceover, courtesy of voice actor Abby Trott. It's worth noting Trott also voices Magik in Marvel Rivals.

A Gateway to Future Skins
With NetEase has opened the door with this gender-swapped skin for Loki, the Marvel Rivals community is busy speculating about similar swaps. Popular ideas currently include:
- Gwenpool as the upcoming Deadpool.
- Thor's alter ego Jane Foster as Thor.
- Spider-Gwen as Spider-Woman.
The big question remains: Will NetEase have the guts to deliver less mainstream alternate versions, such as former hero Sharon Ventura as She-Thing? That will probably hinge on fan demand!
