Police Call Off Operation for Four-Year-Old Lost in Australia's Remote Area
Australian police have suspended the hunt for a four-year-old who has been missing in the outback for approximately several weeks, after fresh operations were unable to locate any signs of the child.
Chronology of Occurrences
The young boy was spotted playing around his residence on a remote farmland close to Yunta, about 300km from Adelaide, on September 27th.
His grandmother briefly departed for about thirty minutes before looking for him, only to find the child gone, prompting one of the largest comprehensive operations in local records.
Present Position
Police - who do not believe foul play - say they will persist examining, but that the situation has become a "recovery mission".
Earlier, police for a short time reduced the hunt, only to restart it on Tuesday alongside 80 Australian Defense Force members.
"Commissioner authorities said authorities were looking a broader zone based on updated assessments from survival and operation experts, rather than any fresh leads."

On recently, police confirmed that the latest search had not uncovered any traces of the child.
